RESTful API Developer

Location: Seattle, WA No. of Positions: 1 Length of Contract: 6 months (to start) W2 Rate (all inclusive): $55.87 – $64.25/hr Only Candidates who are authorized to work in the US will be considered for this position. Client is looking for a strong hands-on developer who can create proof of concepts via coding and expose some key network functionalities using RESTful APIs Key Requirements Excellent communications skills 2+ years of experience in designing and building RESTful APIs preferably in a telecommunications vertical (hands on) 2+ years of software development in network services, virtual firewall, Junipur SRX, F5 or Palo Alto network experience preferred Understanding of load balancers, traffic routing 2+ years of SOAP, HTML, PHP, Ruby experience 2 + years of experience with Relational Databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.) Expert SDLC with Agile, Scrum and waterfall experience Strong ability to design technical requirements and develop proof of concepts based on the requirements Strong knowledge of virtualization, networking, storage and the ability to develop code on top of the virtual platforms like OpenStack, cloudstack Excellent documentation skills.
