Please check the below requirement and if you are comfortable, please share your resume at nahuja@hyrglobalsource.comKindly share below details so that I can contact you on the basis of given Details -Resume:Visa Status:Open for W2:Location:LinkedIn URL:Role: AKS Systems Engineer / Azure Kubernetes Engineer Location: 100% Remote, EST hoursDuration: 12 Months + Extension Strictly W2 Only - USC/GC Only...Required Skills - Linux system administration/engineering skillsDeep understanding of Linux – networking – iptables, Security, Storage, Containers Azure Kubernetes (AKS) – top priority, would consider GCP or AWS Kubernetes if superior in other areasKubernetes – monitoring, networking work, going into details on the hands on experienceKubernetes operators Containerization focus for this role (AKS) – DockerSoft skills – takes initiative, not have to ask what to work on, go getterOPENSHIFT is NOT required but a PLUS.Job DescriptionIn this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Manage and administer private/public cloud cluster compute on VMs & Bare-Metal with OpenShift.Configuring authentication, routing, logging, monitoring, storage and networking components for the cluster compute.Collaborate with development teams in reviewing the containerized applications architecture and onboarding in-house and vendor software components/tools on to the cluster compute and ensure compliance and best practices.Collaborate with Devops and develop GitOps/CICD pipelines for automating patching, maintenance, and vulnerability fixes.Continuously evaluate new technologies and industry trends for security hardening, observability, and platform availabilityTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 5-7 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.5 plus years hands-on experience with Kubernetes Cluster Management and Operations: creating, configuring, upgrading, and administering Kubernetes clusters on VMs/BareMetal.
