This role includes loading/unloading equipment, event setup, food service, and breakdown, with a focus on delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience.Event Timeline Expectation (Approx. 6-8 Hours Total)1.5–2 hours: Loading, travel, and setup2–3 hours: Active service during event1–1.5 hours: Breakdown, cleanup, and returnKey ResponsibilitiesPre-Event ResponsibilitiesReport to assigned store location on time and in full uniformAssist with loading catering van with all necessary food, equipment, andSuppliesChafing dishes, sternos, serving utensilsDisposable ware, beverages, décor itemsReview event details with manager or lead server (timeline, guest count,setup expectations)Ensure all items are properly secured for transportEvent SetupAssist with unloading van and transporting items to event siteSet Up Buffet Line And/or Service Stations, IncludingChafing dishes and food presentationBuffet linens and décorBeverage station (iced tea, lemonade, water)Ensure setup is clean, organized, and visually appealingFollow any venue-specific guidelines or restrictionsService ResponsibilitiesMaintain buffet presentation and replenish food as neededProvide friendly, attentive, and professional guest serviceAssist Guests With Questions About Menu Items When NeededMonitor cleanliness of serving areas throughout eventMaintain proper food safety and temperature standardsWork closely with lead server and team to ensure smooth service flowBreakdown & Post-Event ResponsibilitiesBreak down buffet, beverage stations, and service areasProperly store and pack all equipmentAssist with loading van for return to storeFollow Venue Instructions RegardingTrash removal (may or may not be required)Cleanup expectationsEnsure event space is left clean and in good conditionReturn to store and assist with unloading if requiredAppearance & UniformBlack slacksBlack Sonny’s BBQ logo shirtBlack slip-resistant shoesClean, professional appearance at all timesAdditional ExpectationsRepresent ACG Barbecue with professionalism and hospitalityMaintain a positive attitude and team-first mindsetFollow all company policies and event guidelinesThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
