KDB DeveloperDuration - 1 year plusClient - Major financial services companyInterview process - 1 virtual interviews, 1 final onsite interview in NYCWork Authorization - L2EAD, GCEAD, USC, GC, H4EADWork Location - Onsite 2 days per week in Newark NJ remote for 3 days. Candidates must already reside in the NYC area.Must Haves - 3+ years experience as a KDB Developer. Must understand q (the programming language for KDB) - Basic understanding of FIX protocols - Basic knowledge and understanding of Linux - Python programming - Understanding of US equity markets and rules - Must be self-motivated, independent, does self researchPlusses - Java Day-to-day This KDB Developer will be using Python to run rapid scripts to run reports using the KDB Database. The developer will use q (programming language for KDB) to aggregate and analyze data, perform statistical functions, and join data sets.
