Executive/Administrative Assistant
MDW Associates is seeking an Executive/Administrative Assistant to support the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) on-site at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. The candidate will provide executive-level analytical, clerical, and secretarial support and manage day-to-day processes and budget details.Essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:Conducting special analyses, reports, surveys, inquiries, and evaluations regarding administrative matters using grants and financial systemsPreparing oral and written reports and presentations Assisting with inputting other Defense Agencies Initiative (Time or Leave), completing ED DAI, and providing DAI Report Updating departments Outlook calendars with important meetings and deadlinesAssisting with information gathering and transmittal related to audit request, monthly reviews, and other quality assurance measuresAssisting staff with travel arrangements Assisting with purchasing, records management and correspondence, mail management and distribution, and other administrative servicesAssisting with preparing reports, answering inquiries, gathering data, and inputting information into databases and analytic toolsPerforming tasks associated with office mail pickup and distribution, supply ordering, supply distribution, government vehicle reservationsConducting personnel security processing actions and documents such as: Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) requestsAssisting with processing Statement of Reason (SOR) memo's, Letter of Revocation (LOR, and Letter of Denial (LOD), for employees within area of responsibility Receiving telephone calls, greeting and directing visitors, signing for incoming deliveries, and performing other responsibilities to maintain the routine operations of the officeMaintaining files, manuals, handbooks and reference libraries, both paper and electronic, in support of the local unitThis position requires occasional operation of a Government Owned Vehicle (GOV)Required Experience/Skills3+ years of experience in an administrative-related roleMust be proficient in MS Office SuiteEducation RequirementsCandidates for this position must possess a high school degreeBachelor's degree is preferredClearance Requirement(s)Candidates for this position must be eligible for a US DoD Secret Clearance (requires US Citizenship)Candidates with a current Secret clearance preferredCompany DescriptionIncorporated in 2012, MDW is a small business headquartered in Washington, DC with offices in Huntsville, AL.
