Local Quality Manager - Food ManufacturingMy client, an SQF-certified food procesisng company, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the QC/QA department and drive quality improvement initiatives. This role ensures product safety, USDA compliance, and ongoing SQF certification. Candidates must have at several years of QC Manager experience in a USDA-regulated facility.ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and manage the Quality Control team.Develop and implement strategies to strengthen QC/QA operations.Oversee annual SQF audits and ensure continuous compliance. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.2+ years as a Quality Control Manager in USDA-regulated food manufacturing.Strong knowledge of USDA regulations and SQF standards.Proven leadership and department-building skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Skilled in audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
