Heavy Equipment Water Truck Driver
Job Summary
Overland Corporation is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Water Truck Driver. All applicants must have a CDL class A or B and obtain a tanker endorsement. As a Heavy Equipment Water Truck Driver, you’ll play an important role in the success of our grading operations. Working closely alongside your fellow team members on a variety of production tasks, your day-to-day work will include suppressing the dirt and dust that is kicked up around the grading and excavation operations. The Heavy Equipment Truck Driver will operate a large tank truck that sprays water over large jobsites to decrease the various risks that come from dirt and dust in the air.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Heavy Equipment Water Truck Driver (Must have Tanker Endorsements)
Working along side team members on a variety of production tasks.
Operate equipment in an efficient manner and follow instructions management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
CDL (A or B) Driver’s license
Tanker Endorsement
Ability to read, comprehend, research and order parts.
Good safety and driving record.
Willingness to travel and work out of town.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Good safety, behavior, and attendance record.
The selected candidate will be required to work collectively in a team environment with other co-workers and managers.
Excellent verbal, written and comprehension communication skills.
Willingness to do other work as needed, including heavy labor.
Willingness to work outside in all weather extremes.
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including swing shift, graveyard shift, overtime and weekends as required.
The water truck will operate a large tank truck that sprays water over large jobsites.
Must have a valid Class A or B CDL license, current medical examiners certificate and tanker endorsement.
Spraying /spreading water throughout job sites.
Other various labor tasks to assist the crew in completing daily work tasks.
Ability to operate a Bulldozer, Loader Operator, and/or an Excavator.
