Role SummaryWe are seeking a Business Analyst (Data) with strong expertise in data quality, governance, and data-driven initiatives.The role involves working closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze datasets, identify data issues, and define solutions that improve data integrity and support enterprise reporting and analytics.Key Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & AnalysisEngage with stakeholders to capture, analyze, and document business and data requirements.Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.Facilitate workshops and discussions to clarify requirements and drive consensus.Data Analysis & QualityAnalyze large datasets using SQL and data analysis tools.Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps.Define and document data quality rules, validations, and metrics.Data Governance & Management Support initiatives related to:Data QualityData GovernanceMaster Data Management (MDM)Metadata and Data LineageCollaborate with data teams to ensure compliance with data standards and policies.Data Architecture Understanding Work with technical teams to understand:Source systemsETL/ELT processesData lakes and data warehousesEnsure requirements align with data architecture and integration flows.Stakeholder Management & CommunicationAct as a bridge between business users and technical teams.Communicate insights, issues, and solutions clearly to stakeholders.Provide documentation, reports, and presentations.Delivery & MethodologyWork in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.Support testing, UAT, and validation activities.Ensure timely delivery of requirements and documentation.Required Skills Core Skills Strong experience as a Business Analyst in data-centric projects.Expertise in:Data QualityData GovernanceMaster DataMetadata ManagementTechnical SkillsHands-on experience with data quality platforms/tools.Strong knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques.Understanding of data architectures (ETL, data lakes, data warehouses).Functional SkillsStrong requirements gathering and documentation skills.Experience in stakeholder management and facilitation.Ability to analyze complex datasets and identify issues.MethodologiesExperience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models.Skills: data warehouse,data governance,etl,sql,data quality,agile,data lakes,metadata
