Junior Software Developer Pic The Gift | Lone Jack, MO | On-site Salary: $52,000 - 60,000 depending on experience About the Role Pic The Gift is a B2B print-on-demand fulfillment company specializing in personalized products. We're looking for a motivated Junior Software Developer to help maintain applications, solve technical problems, and support our transition from a legacy ERP to a custom-built system. You'll work alongside our Senior Software Developer and CTO, gaining hands-on experience solving real business problems and building new applications. What You'll Do Assist with developing and improving business applications. Test software and troubleshoot applications, order data, and integration issues. Use SQL and reporting tools to investigate problems and identify solutions. Maintain existing systems and support our custom ERP development. What We're Looking For 6 months to 2 years of software development or application support experience. Experience with JavaScript, JSON/XML APIs, relational databases, and SQL. Logical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Professional communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn new tools and technologies. Our Technology: JavaScript, Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Retool, n8n, Cursor, REST APIs, Postman, AWS, and DigitalOcean. Experience with these tools is a plus. Skills Assessment Candidates must complete a basic JavaScript assessment with screen sharing. The assessment must be completed independently, without AI tools or outside assistance. This allows us to evaluate your programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills. Work Details Location: On-site in Lone Jack, Missouri. No remote work. Schedule: Monday–Friday, preferred hours of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
