Lead, Supplier Performance

Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.We are seeking an experienced team member to join our team in Cameron, LA. The Lead, Supplier Performance requires an in-depth knowledge of commercial contracting and project management. The Lead, Supplier Performance must be able to apply this knowledge when reviewing strategic supplier contracts and supplier performance with respect to cost, quality and on-time completion of commitments.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate trackable KPI development for scopes of work related to Service RFPsCoordinate required site walksCollaborate with Houston based Contracts TeamProvide performance data to assist with bid eventsAssist with onboarding of new SuppliersConduct "Kick-Off" Meetings with awarded SuppliersAssist with site onboarding of supplier personnelSet Company expectationsAlign invoicing requirements with Cost Controls Team expectationsManage site based KPIs and scorecards collection for term of the workCollaborate with HSSE to determine frequency of HSSE KPIs based on risk rankingEstablish and maintain open lines of communications between Company and Suppliers to avoid service delaysMonitor scope modifications to minimize change orders and/or scope creepOversee performance reviews and action plans with SuppliersLead improvement projects with SuppliersServe as relationship manager between Venture Global Plaquemines LNG and suppliers when issues ariseQualificationsBachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or other related discipline is preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in a LNG plant experience or equivalent petrochemical experienceSkills, Knowledge & AbilitiesStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to understand contract languageDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsDemonstrated ability to lead programs / projectsAbility to document, plan, and execute programsEstablished project management skills Ability to balance multiple conflicting projects to establish priorities for the overall best business outcomePrevious experience with cross functional teams, implementing a project or programPrevious experience leading a teamChange agent with strong work ethicKnowledge of budgeting, planning, scheduling, trainingHigh level of HSSE knowledgeSelf-starter with ability to work strategically under little directionWorking ConditionsBased in Cameron, LAMay be required to carry a cell phone and respond as needed during working and non-working hoursMay be required to work non-traditional hours as neededVenture Global LNG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
