Job DescriptionA Structural Designer to serve as a key contributor to the design team, developing conceptual and detailed 2D and 3D structural models for advanced technology manufacturing facilities, including semiconductor fabs. This role involves translating engineering input into construction-ready documentation while maintaining data integrity and ensuring alignment with client and departmental standards. The designer will guide a small team, coordinate across disciplines, and manage task assignments to deliver accurate, high-quality design packages on schedule. Career growth is driven by individual initiative, capability, and commitment to precision and quality.Required:Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalentMinimum of 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural fieldMinimum of 3 years Revit experienceStrong interpersonal leadership skills and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:7 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field5 years of Revit experienceExperience with SmartPlant and TeklaExperience using Navisworks and BluebeamExperience designing traditional steel and concrete structuresExperience with general industrial facilities, preferably semiconductor-relatedJob Responsibilities:Proficient in the development of 3D structural models based on verbal instructions or rough sketchesProduce complete sets of structural plans and detailsApply department and client standards consistently across models and documentsTake full ownership of assigned scope and meet schedule and quality requirementsHighly proficient in verifying completeness and accuracy of own workCoordinate design efforts with related disciplinesSupport team members by addressing needsAdvance design automation skills and embrace emerging technologiesReview models and documents for quality and complianceAbility to lead small design teams:Provide leadership for small packages and guide a small team of designersCoordinate team tasks, balance workloads, monitor progress to ensure deadlines are obtained, and ensure quality standards including clash adjudicated designTake ownership of internal reviews and lead cross-discipline and external package reviewsAttend meetings and actively help resolve concerns and solve problemsPay Range: $40/hr. - $47.16/hr.
