Working Location: 2112-1 Enrico Fermi Drive San Diego CA 92154 Work Hours: 8:00am 17:00pmKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and schedule delivery appointments for major retail customers, including Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Costco, Amazon, and BJ's.Communicate with customers, carriers, internal transportation teams regarding shipments and delivery schedules.Request, confirm, and update delivery appointments through customer portals.Monitor shipment status and follow up on late, delayed, refused, or rescheduled deliveries.Prepare and review appointment confirmations.Track inbound and outbound shipments and provide customers with accurate ETAs.Resolve delivery issues, appointment conflicts, shortages, damages, and other customer concerns.Enter and maintain accurate shipment and customer information in the internal systemRespond to customer emails and phone calls professionally and promptly.Escalate urgent transportation or customer issues to the appropriate departments.Maintain daily shipment reports, appointment schedules, and tracking spreadsheets.Follow up with carriers to ensure appointments are met and deliveries are completed.Build strong relationships with key customers and transportation partners.Support the logistics team with daily operational tasks.SkillsStrong communication and customer service skillsExcellent organization and time managementAttention to detail and accuracyShipment tracking and appointment schedulingProblem solving and issue resolutionStrong follow up and multitasking abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and WordAbility to work in a fast paced environmentRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent3 6 years of experience in logistics, transportation and customer services preferredExperience scheduling delivery appointments preferredFamiliarity with retail customer portals such as Walmart, Target, Costco, Amazon, Sam's Club, or BJ'sExperience working with carriers, customers, and internal teamsAbility to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills
