We are adding a Rental System Sales team member to manage the Louisiana and Northeast Texas territory.The Rental Systems Sales team is responsible for driving rental revenue growth by generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and delivering tailored equipment solutions. This role focuses on supporting customers in the construction, industrial, oil & gas, and pipeline sectors by providing reliable rental air compressor solutions that meet operational needs and project demands.The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with strong business development skills, technical aptitude, and a customer-focused mindset. Success in this role requires the ability to build lasting partnerships, identify market opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure exceptional service delivery.Essential FunctionsProspecting & Business DevelopmentIdentify, target, and pursue new business opportunities within construction, industrial, oil & gas, and pipeline industries.Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of rental opportunities to support sustained revenue growth.Establish and nurture relationships with contractors, project managers, site supervisors, and industrial clients.Expand market presence by actively networking, attending industry events, and leveraging referrals.Sales ExecutionPresent rental air compressor solutions tailored to customer applications, timelines, and budget requirements.Prepare proposals, negotiate rental terms, pricing, and contracts within company guidelines.Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Track sales activity, forecasts, and opportunities within CRM systems.Customer Relationship ManagementDeliver exceptional customer service to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business.Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring responsive communication and support.Address customer concerns and coordinate with service teams to resolve issues promptly and effectively.Conduct regular account reviews to identify additional opportunities for growth.CollaborationPartner closely with operations, logistics, and service teams to ensure equipment availability and seamless rental execution.Communicate effectively across departments to support efficient processes and customer satisfaction.Contribute to team initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the rental division.Experience & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.Minimum of 3–5 years of outside sales or rental sales in industrial equipment, construction equipment, compressed air systems, or related industries.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a competitive market.Experience working with customers in construction, industrial, oil & gas, or pipeline sectors strongly preferred.Strong negotiation, presentation, and contract management skills.Technical understanding of air compressors, rental equipment, or industrial machinery is highly desirable.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively throughout the Midwest region.Key CompetenciesOutside SalesStrategic ProspectingConsultative SellingCustomer Relationship ManagementTechnical Product KnowledgeNegotiation & Closing SkillsMarket AwarenessCross-Functional CollaborationResults Orientation
