PM Dishwasher
The PM Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas during evening operations. This role is critical in supporting kitchen efficiency, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, and assisting with overall back-of-house cleanliness, including trash removal and general cleaning duties.Key ResponsibilitiesDishwashing & SanitationOperate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficientlyWash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pansEnsure all items are properly dried and stored in designated areasMaintain cleanliness and organization of the dish pit areaFollow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (local, state, and brand standards)Cleaning & MaintenanceClean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and equipmentSweep and mop kitchen floors regularly throughout the shiftAssist with deep cleaning tasks as assigned (e.g., drains, mats, storage areas)Maintain cleanliness of sinks, dish machines, and surrounding work areasEnsure cleaning supplies are stocked and used properlyTrash Removal & Waste ManagementRemove trash from kitchen and dish areas regularly to prevent overflowBreak down boxes and dispose of recyclables in designated areasTransport trash to dumpsters in a safe and timely mannerMaintain cleanliness of trash and recycling areasFollow proper procedures for waste separation and disposalSupport to Kitchen OperationsAssist kitchen staff with basic prep or support tasks as neededRestock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies for serviceCommunicate with kitchen team to ensure smooth workflowRespond promptly to peak service demandsQualificationsPrevious dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to cleanliness and organizationAbility to follow instructions and safety proceduresMust be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work in hot, wet, and humid conditionsFrequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motionsWork EnvironmentFast-paced kitchen environmentExposure to cleaning chemicals and high-temperature equipmentRequires teamwork and strong communication with kitchen staffAdditional ExpectationsMaintain a positive attitude and team-oriented mindsetAdhere to uniform and grooming standardsFollow all company policies and proceduresCompensation Range16.00
