Solar Installer

Neil Kelly is seeking Solar Installers in Portland. Primary duties are mounting solar racking on roofs and assisting as a materials handler for electrical work. In this position, you will be an important member of Neil Kelly’s Solar Team. Our projects include residential, commercial and battery storage installations throughout the Portland Metro area. Skills & Qualifications: Solar installation experience strongly preferred Ability to perform physical exertion including carrying, climbing, crawling, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, hauling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted Comfort with heights, ability to climb ladders and experience working on roofs in all weather conditions (hot sun with no shade in the summer and rain in the winter) Experience / knowledge of residential construction, roofing and construction safety is preferred Ability to work as a member of a team Strong communication skills, customer service and client interaction skills Ability to problem solve Ability to work in a clean/tidy manner Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Reliable personal vehicle Ability to drive a small commercial delivery vehicle occasionally Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings Obtain/maintain current First Aid/CPR certification and OSHA safety requirements. (company provides training) You must provide your own vehicle and have license and provide proof of insurance. Regular travel between job sites is required.
