F&B Supervisor
Summary: Takes responsibility for all food and beverage areas during assigned shift. Assists in hiring, scheduling, training and implementing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or credited courses in business or hospitality (job experience may be substituted for education requirements)
Minimum 2 years of Food and Beverage experience
Have knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be motivated and demonstrate superior customer relations
Must be 21 years of age
Acquire Food Handlers permit within 30 days of hire
Must successfully complete 90 day probationary/training period to maintain employment
License Requirement(s):
Class III, MAST permit, Washington State Food Handlers Permit
Essential Job Functions:
Supervises the department on assigned shift, including administrative and secretarial work, interviews, and maintaining products, supplies and equipment.
Ensures compliance with all regulations regarding alcohol, health and safety for employees and customers.
Gives superior customer service at all times.
Must be able to problem solve all guest complaints in a positive and professional manner
Ensures food quality and quantity in food service areas.
Trains subordinates.
Delegates work and cleaning duties
Prepares daily reports.
Makes recommendations to improve menu offerings, service, and procedures.
Monitors food temperatures and times on precooked food.
Performs other duties as requested.
Represent the Silver Reef Casino values, policies, procedures and standards while on property
Ability to work within a strong team environment
Must be able to work flexible hours i.e. holidays and weekends
Physical/Mental Requirements
Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computer and routine paperwork
Capable of lifting 25 lbs.
Standing or walking for long periods.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment with occasional hot and cold temperature changes.
Work in close spaces while working with others.
Moderate noise levels.
Will be exposed to food odors.
Stand on tile, mats.
Hazards: chemicals, equipment blades, hot food, wet floors, knives.
