It's where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential-and where you can help us reach ours.In this function you will:• Troubleshooting and Repair:o Identify and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical malfunctions in production machines and facility systems.o Seek guidance from senior maintenance technicians when necessary.• Systems Knowledge:o Familiarity with various systems such as PLCs, HMIs, VFD Drives, Vision Systems, Motor Control Centers, Power Distribution Centers, and different types of motors.o Understand power and control circuits, as well as control panel layout and component installation.• Preventative Maintenance:o Perform routine preventative maintenance on all production equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.• Electrical Inspection and Repair:o Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and compliance with NEC codes.o Install and repair electrical systems, following electrical code and specifications.• Equipment Installation:o Assist in the installation of new or used manufacturing equipment with guidance from senior technicians.• Fabrication and Machining:o Fabricate and machine parts or components as needed for various projects.• Working at Heights:o Operate lift trucks, man lifts, and boom lifts to work in elevated locations safely.• General Maintenance Skills:o Perform various maintenance tasks, including welding, prototyping, plumbing, painting, masonry, piping, and carpentry duties.• Continuous Improvement and Lean Initiatives:o Support and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.o Maintain 5-S principles in the workspace.o Utilize visual management tools like layered process audits and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards.o Encourage and engage in Kaizen improvements and events.• Embracing Diversity and Inclusion:o Promote diversity and inclusion by valuing different ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds, fostering a stronger work environment.• Other Duties:o Be willing to take on various other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or as needed for the maintenance department.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we - as individuals and as a company - are stronger.Basic Qualifications:• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.• Previous experience reading electrical/mechanical blueprints and schematics.• Previous experience interfacing with vendors to troubleshoot, setup and acquire parts for various types of machinery.• Previous experience with CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) & SAP.• Working knowledge of production machinery and equipment such as clutch/brake systems, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, compressed gas systems, water systems, & cooling systems• Basic Microsoft offices suite experience (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)• Must have a valid driver's license• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.• Must be able to start on 1st shift for training purposes (orientation, onboarding training for 4-6 months).• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered.
