By leveragingadvanced robotics, automation, and precision engineering, we deliver solutions thateliminate the need for manned entry—making operations safer, faster, and more efficient.Our mission is to innovate until tank cleaning is fully non-entry across all applications.We combine cutting-edge technology, reliability, and deep industry expertise to solve thetoughest cleaning challenges across petrochemical, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, andenvironmental sectors.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Accountant to support our growingfinance team and contribute to accurate financial reporting and operational cost tracking.Position SummaryThe Project Accountant will support the Controller in maintaining accurate financialrecords, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring compliance with internal controlsand industry regulations. This role will have exposure to inventory accounting, costaccounting, terminal operations reporting, and financial reporting within an industrialenvironment.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting & Month-End Close:- Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, allocations)- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations- Maintain general ledger integrity- Support preparation of financial statements and management reportsInventory & Cost Accounting Support:- Assist with inventory reconciliations (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)- Support standard cost updates and variance analysis- Assist in analyzing cost of goods sold and operational marginsAccounts Payable & Receivable:- Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding- Assist with 3-way match (PO, receiving, invoice)- Monitor customer billing and support collections- Maintain accurate vendor and customer recordsRegulatory & Compliance Support:- Assist with sales tax filings and state reporting- Support documentation for environmental and operational compliance audits- Maintain organized audit-ready workpapers- Support external audit and tax preparation processesInternal Controls & Process Improvement:- Follow and support implementation of internal control procedures- Assist in ERP data integrity and reporting accuracy- Identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows- Support system enhancements and data clean-up initiativesQualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- 5+ years of accounting experience- Understanding of inventory and cost accounting concepts- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)- Experience with ERP systems- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment- Strong written and verbal communication skillsKey Competencies- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills- High level of accuracy and attention to detail- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams- Strong work ethic and accountability- Ability to manage multiple priorities
