The typical schedule includes weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with on-site presence, along with off-site night call on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend coverage may be required occasionally, but minimally. Inpatient and Outpatient Focus: Provide vital consultative services for hospitalized patients requiring cardiac evaluation, while also offering urgent care for patients in the clinic setting. Predictable Call: Night call responsibilities involve limited patient interaction, with an average of 2.5 gratis hours included during this period. Streamlined Workflow: Utilize the familiar EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and patient management. Supportive Team Environment: Collaborate with a team of skilled healthcare professionals, including registered nurses and nurse practitioners/physician assistants, to deliver optimal patient care. Temporary Commitment: This locum tenens position offers a flexible assignment to cover ongoing needs, initially filling a 6-month provider leave of absence with the possibility of further coverage as shifts become available. We Value Your Expertise: We are seeking a board-certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist who possesses a valid medical license in the state of Colorado. Experience with Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversion procedures is a plus.
