Infrastructure Manager (Remote) Primary Location: Remote V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an Infrastructure Manager (Remote) for our premier client. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: Technical Requirements and Certifications » ITIL certification preferred. Education and Experience » High school diploma and 8+ years of directly related infrastructure experience. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role. Demonstrated experience in infrastructure architecture, network engineering, server administration, and enterprise systems management. Experience managing cloud platforms, virtualization, and hybrid environments. Project management experience preferred. Broad/advanced technical knowledge of network and server operating systems. Strong understanding of network hardware, protocols, and standards. Proven experience in infrastructure planning, lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Job Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of short-term and long-term strategic infrastructure plans. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, standards, and training plans for infrastructure operations and project management. Conduct research and provide recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards to support infrastructure modernization and procurement. Oversee and enforce change management processes related to infrastructure services. Develop and execute strategies for server, storage, and network infrastructure maintenance and modernization. Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of infrastructure systems including LANs, WANs, Internet, Intranet, cloud services, security, and wireless implementations. Define and enforce hardware and software standards in collaboration with organizational stakeholders. Manage infrastructure budgets, provide cost analysis, and support financial planning. Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure staff to ensure high performance and operational excellence. Oversee the planning, deployment, and monitoring of infrastructure security measures. Ensure infrastructure services are tested regularly and provide performance metrics, reports, and capacity planning insights. Ensure all change requests are managed in a controlled manner, including standard changes, emergency maintenance, impact assessments, prioritization, authorization, tracking, reporting, closure, and documentation.
