This role combines hands-on technical leadership with architectural strategy, focusing on Experience Cloud implementations, integrations, and personalized user journeys.Need to Know:6-month contract (potential for extension)Hybrid schedule: 1-2 days/week in office (Downtown Phoenix)Will only consider candidates local to Phoenix, AZOpen to W2 and C2CFull-time hours, not a part-time contractRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience as a Salesforce DeveloperActive Salesforce Experience Cloud Certification (required)Demonstrated experience leading the end-to-end architecture of Salesforce Experience Cloud sitesStrong expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS/SLDSDeep understanding of Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) and its impact on performance and SEOExperience with Salesforce CLI (SFDX) and modern DevOps/CI/CD practicesPreferred QualificationsExperience with Service Cloud and/or Marketing CloudBackground in UI/UX principles and user-centered designKey Responsibilities1. Architectural Design & StrategyLead the end-to-end architecture and solution design for Experience Cloud implementationsEvaluate and select appropriate frameworks (LWR vs. Aura) based on performance, scalability, and SEO requirementsDesign secure, scalable solutions leveraging External Identity, SSO, and advanced sharing models (e.g., Apex Managed Sharing, Account Relationship Data Sharing)Establish governance standards, including branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines for Experience Cloud deployments2. Technical Development (Hands-on Leadership)Develop and oversee high-performance, modular Lightning Web Components optimized for LWRImplement personalization strategies using audience targeting and CMS capabilitiesDesign and build scalable automation solutions using Flow (including headless flows) and asynchronous ApexProvide hands-on development support and technical leadership across the delivery lifecycle3. Data & IntegrationIntegrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and secure authentication methods (e.g., Named Credentials)Leverage Data Cloud or similar platforms to enable unified customer views and enhanced user experiencesEnsure data integrity, performance, and scalability across integrated systems4.
