DescriptionLandscape Management InternshipPosition SummaryWe are seeking motivated students interested in gaining hands-on experience in the commercial landscape industry. This internship provides exposure to multiple areas of the business, allowing interns to learn how field operations, client management, and business development work together to support successful landscape services.Interns will work alongside experienced professionals and gain practical knowledge of landscape operations while developing skills that support long-term career growth within the industryThis internship is designed to provide meaningful real-world experience in both field and management environments.Key Learning OpportunitiesInterns May Gain Exposure To The Following AreasField OperationsObserve and support landscape maintenance operationsLearn service standards and operational workflowsGain exposure to equipment and landscape maintenance practicesIrrigationLearn irrigation system basics and troubleshootingUnderstand water management and system efficiencyObserve irrigation inspections and adjustmentsField ManagementShadow field managers and supervisorsObserve crew coordination and service planningLearn quality control and site inspection practicesAccount ManagementParticipate in property walks and site evaluationsObserve client communication and relationship managementGain exposure to enhancement planning and service recommendationsDesign & EstimatingObserve project planning and estimating processesAssist with measurements or basic takeoffs when applicableLearn how proposals are developed for landscape projectsBusiness DevelopmentGain exposure to sales strategy and proposal developmentLearn how new client relationships are developedObserve how opportunities move from prospecting to project executionInternship ProjectDuring the internship, students may work on a small project or observation related to their experience. At the conclusion of the internship, interns may present their insights and recommendations to leadership.QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a college or university programPreferred majors may include Landscape Management, Horticulture, Business, Construction Management, or related fieldsInterest in the landscape or green industryStrong communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to learn and participate in both field and office environmentsInternship DetailsPaid internship opportunityFlexible duration based on academic schedulesOpportunities available in Washington, Oregon, and TexasHigh-performing interns may be considered for future internships, part-time roles during school, or full-time opportunities after graduation.Salary Description$22/hr.
