Major Responsibilities:
Quality
2)Demonstrates the appropriate operation of all radiographic equipment including fluoroscopy units , portable units , surgical units as well as general radiography units .1)Accountable for the production of quality radiographs .3)Demonstrates safety in all areas , electrical , environmental , radiation etc.4)Ensures all appropriate information is present before radiographs are performed .5)Completes all data entries in the radiology and hospital information system .6)Participates in efforts to monitor and improve departmental CQI indicators.7)Submits ideas for improving quality in your department.Customer Satisfaction
1)Serves as a patient advocate to ensure that patients and customers needs are met in a timely and efficient manner .2)Provides education to all patients before , during and after exams .3)Maintains a positive relationship with all customers i.e. patients , other departments , physicians and fellow associates .4)Reviews patient satisfaction data and participates in improving areas of concern .5)Utilizes appropriate resources to resolve patient issues .6)Address and resolve customer complaints.7)Ensure on-time completion of your performance pathway Send out co-worker feedback forms 6 months before review to associates you and your leader have identified as able to provide valuable feedback. Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology School.

May be exposed to radiation ; hazardous materials & life threatening diseases. Ability to lift and/or move patients . Ability to work under stressful conditions & in difficult situations. Ability to work rotating shifts any day of the week. Ability to stand , bend and /or stoop for extended periods of time .
If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 06/01/2015. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available.
