Retail Pharmacist

Job Title: Retail Pharmacist Location: Eugene, OR 97410 Payrate: $72/hourly Duration: 12 Weeks Contract Guarantee Hours: 32 Hours Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM Days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently. Counsel patients on the use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications. Review prescriptions to ensure they are appropriate for the patient and check for potential drug interactions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Valid state pharmacist license. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Skills: Pharmacology Knowledge: Understanding drug actions, interactions, and effects. Patient Assessment: Evaluating patients' medication needs and responses. Medication Therapy Management (MTM): Optimizing therapeutic outcomes for patients. Disease Management: Knowledge of chronic and acute disease states Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving medication-related issues.
