Job Title: Cable Installation Technician (Data Center Infrastructure)Location: Onsite - New Carlisle, INContract Duration: 6-24 monthsPay Rate: $23.50/hr (W2)Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)Job OverviewWe are seeking an Infrastructure Delivery Cable Installation Technician to support data center operations in New Carlisle, IN. This is a hands-on role focused on structured cabling, hardware installation, and basic task documentation in a data center environment.What You'll Be DoingInstall and troubleshoot copper and fiber cabling (patch panels, patch cords, cable routing)Rack, stack, label, and install servers, switches, and network equipmentFollow standard cabling and data center installation practicesMove and organize IT equipment and materialsUpdate work orders and task status using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira)Communicate with internal teams and vendorsKeep work areas clean and safeMust-Have SkillsHands-on structured cabling experience (copper and fiber)Experience installing IT hardware in a data center or similar environmentComfortable using ticketing systems and basic communication tools (email, Slack)Basic Qualifications1+ year of experience in cabling, IT infrastructure, or related hands-on roleFamiliar with cable management, racks, and IT equipmentAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical work (ladders, racks, job sites)Willing to work onsite and occasional after-hours supportHigh school diploma or GED (certifications are a plus, not required)Why This RoleLong-term contract with steady hoursHands-on data center experienceExposure to enterprise-level infrastructureStrong opportunity to grow technical skillsAbout ManpowerGroup, Parent Company of:Manpower, Experis, Talent Solutions, and Jefferson Wells
