Accounting Manager

Job DescriptionAccounting ManagerGPAC is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals and oversee financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements. This role ensures GAAP adherence, supports audits, and partners with teams on financial planning and operational decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and develop the accounting team.Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.Support external audits and provide required documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on planning, forecasting, and accounting inquiries.Oversee the general ledger and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.Identify process improvements, automate accounting tasks, and support system implementations.Provide routine management reporting and ad hoc financial analysis.Maintain internal controls and standardized procedures.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.5+ years accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting procedures, and internal controls.Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Compensation$80,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience.BenefitsComprehensive medical (PPO & HDHP), dental, and vision coverageLife insurance and disability coverage401(k) with employer matchGenerous paid time off, including personal and volunteer daysApply: kylla.olsen@gogpac.com | (515) 671-2172
