Vice President of FinanceA private equity-backed, high-growth educational, technology company with locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom is seeking a Vice President of Finance to partner directly with the CEO and executive leadership team. This role is designed for a hands-on, analytically driven finance leader who thrives in a data-rich, multi-unit environment. The VP of Finance will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, business intelligence, and performance optimization across the organization, while overseeing core accounting operations.Position Summary:Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Finance will lead all financial planning and analysis, business intelligence, and performance analytics initiatives. This individual will oversee a small accounting team and serve as a strategic partner to leadership, helping translate data into actionable insights that drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly analytical finance leader who enjoys building reporting infrastructure, improving visibility into unit-level performance, and supporting private equity value creation initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Partner closely with the CEO and private equity sponsors to drive financial strategy and long-term planningServe as a key thought partner on growth initiatives, unit economics, and franchise performanceSupport board reporting, investor updates, and strategic decision-makingLead all budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processesBuild and enhance KPI dashboards and performance metrics across the locationsAnalyze unit-level economics, customer trends, and revenue drivers to identify opportunities for improvementDevelop actionable insights to optimize pricing, margin, and operational efficiencyDrive the evolution of data infrastructure and reporting toolsPartner cross-functionally to improve data accuracy, accessibility, and visibilityImplement scalable BI solutions to support a growing, multi-unit businessOversee day-to-day accounting operationsEnsure accuracy of financial reporting, monthly close processes, and internal controlsPartner with external auditors and manage compliance requirementsSupport value creation initiatives aligned with PE Firm for investment thesisPrepare and present financial materials for board meetings and investor communicationsAssist with potential future transactions, including refinancing or exit processesQualifications:10+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A and analytics leadershipExperience in multi-unit, SAAS, multi-location, or consumer-facing businesses strongly preferredPrivate equity-backed company experience highly preferredProven ability to build financial models, dashboards, and scalable reporting frameworksStrong business acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic insightsExperience managing small teams while remaining hands-onBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plusPosition is located in Norcross, Georgia area. Hybrid with 2-3 days in the office.
