Fudge Depot Assistant ManagerThe Fudge Depot Assistant Manager is responsible for helping with making decisions daily to ensure the comfort and well-being of the guests, and the well-being of the department staff. This position will oversee many aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring that the high level of quality, service, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved. To be successful as an assistant manager, you should be someone who can keep a level head when working under pressure. The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player, willing to go the extra mile in pursuit of great food and exceptional service.Responsibilities include taking a leadership role among front of house staff, giving directions to the team on daily tasks needing accomplished in absence of Manager, assisting Manager with training and coaching of staff, assisting with ordering and managing inventory of all Fudge Depot items, being a team player with fellow employees, assisting in receiving, inventorying and organizing all food and beverage orders, and providing excellent customer service.Supervisory responsibilities include staff management: assisting manager with training and overseeing staff.Skills and qualifications include leadership skills, strong leadership and team management skills, customer service orientation, commitment to providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer needs effectively, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality and service are consistently met, and working conditions that involve an indoor setting with possible extreme temperatures, frequent freezer visits, hands-on management, and client interaction.Physical requirements include ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods to serve guests, ability to lift, balance, and carry up to twenty-five pounds to transport food, beverages, and dishware, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to work long hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required.TRMF is located in the heart of the Badlands: Medora, North Dakota.
