Looking for someone who can work on W2 - No C2C.We will accept H1 transfersJob Description – Java Test Engineer (Cypress)Employment Type: W2 ContractRate: $50/hr on W2 + Benefits Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Java Test Engineer with Cypress expertise to join Deloitte’s project team supporting a confidential client in the financial domain. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise applications. This is an onsite role in Philadelphia, PA.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Cypress frameworks.Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for financial applications.Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.Execute test plans, analyze results, and report defects using standard test management tools.Ensure compliance with quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.Participate in Agile ceremonies and support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Java programming and Cypress automation framework.5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.Experience in financial domain applications preferred.Proficiency in writing complex test cases and debugging issues.Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
