Quality Technician Intern

This person will provide immediate quality support to production, inspection and other support teams as required.DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:Maintains production quality standards and documentationPrepares and updates necessary records and monitors production quality performance to identify opportunities for improvementParticipates in Return Material Authorizations (RMA) and Material Review Board (MRB) processesPerforms various types of quality audits, inspections and reportingParticipates in Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control complianceQUALIFICATIONS:Current College Student in either a 2-year or 4-year program, preferrable related to Engineering/Manufacturing.Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office ToolsBasic knowledge for use of standard measuring equipmentExperience with spreadsheets and databases; ability to organize data efficiently and effectively into inspection reportsStrong communication, analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with a positive attitude and willingness to learnINTERNSHIP BENEFITS:Apply classroom learning, experience team collaboration, build industry connections, and explore career growth opportunitiesExperience working for one of the largest global electronics manufacturing service companiesExperience in interpretation of drawings and other manufacturing materialsGain knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485, ISO 80079-34 (ATEX), or 21 CFR part 820 (FDA)Gain knowledge of electronic components and assembliesWORKING CONDITIONS:* This position works in an office environment with significant time spent out on the manufacturing floor.
