A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a school-based position primarily located at an Early Childhood Center in Salem, OR. This contract role involves providing comprehensive nursing care and health services to students, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment.Responsibilities include:Performing general school nurse duties such as first aid, health assessments, and managing student health recordsTraining school staff on health procedures and protocolsDeveloping individualized health plans tailored to students' medical needsCoordinating calls and consultations with medical providers, parents, and school staff to address health concernsProviding ongoing health consultations to support students and staffOccasional travel may be required but the role is mainly based at the Salem Early Childhood CenterQualifications:Current and valid RN licenseExperience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferredAbility to effectively communicate with parents, staff, and healthcare providersStrong organizational skills and attention to detailWillingness to work in a dynamic school environment
