Senior AccountantWe are seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant to drive financial accuracy, strengthen balance sheet integrity, and lead fixed asset accounting within a manufacturing environment.This is a hands-on, ownership-driven rolenot a maintenance position. Were looking for someone who challenges inconsistencies, digs into the details, and ensures financial data is fully supportable, audit-ready, and aligned with strong internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong IFRS skills.What Youll OwnMonth-End Close & Financial ReportingLead month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and adjustmentsDeliver timely, accurate, and fully supported financial resultsAnalyze performance and provide clear, actionable variance explanationsIdentify issues early and drive resolutionBalance Sheet IntegrityPrepare and review reconciliations (cash, prepaids, accruals, intercompany)Ensure all balances are fully supported and audit-readyInvestigate discrepancies and resolve efficientlyMaintain organized, defensible documentationFixed Assets & Capital ControlsManage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including CIP (Construction in Progress)Enforce capitalization policies and ensure complianceReconcile subledger to general ledger and record depreciationPartner with operations to validate assets and capital spendMonitor CIP aging, approvals, and documentationIdentify misclassified, idle, or impaired assetsAP / AR SupportProvide backup support for Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableAssist with invoicing, payments, and cash applicationEnsure continuity during peak periods or absencesIdentify and implement process improvementsWhat You BringBachelors degree in accounting or finance58+ years of progressive accounting experienceManufacturing experience (preferred)Strong fixed asset accounting experience (highly preferred)SAP or ERP system experience (preferred)Core StrengthsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems quicklyWillingness to challenge processes and drive improvementHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracyDeep understanding of financial controls and audit readinessClear, professional communication skillsWhy This Role Stands OutHigh visibility directly impacts financial accuracy and decision-makingOwnership you control key areas of the balance sheet and capital trackingOperational exposure partner with plant leadership on real assets and investmentsGrowth opportunity build toward Controller-level responsibilitiesWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with company matchPaid time offStable, growth-oriented environmentPIc475e1a41730-26289-40432894
