Founding AI Engineer / Full-Stack Developer
Overview: We are building an AI-driven simulation platformResponsibilities:System Architecture & DevelopmentBuild a scalable vector database layer for uncategorized data retrievalImplement feature scoring, weighted scoring logic, and integrate LLM reasoning layer with guardrailsBuild the workflow where simulation scenarios are generated (via LLM prompt chains) and delivered to candidatesDevelop a dashboard (score transparency, explanations, key reports detailing KPIs)Define and enforce data contractsManage model hosting (open-source LLM fine-tuning + embedding models)Set up evaluation pipelines (scoring accuracy, fairness checks, drift monitoring)Ensure candidate data privacy (GDPR, EEOC fairness standards)Implement redaction pipelines to avoid bias leakage (names, pronouns, etc.)Requirements:5+ years in software engineering, with experience in AI/ML systemsStrong background in NLP: embeddings, vector search (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, FAISS)Experience with LLM integration (OpenAI API, Hugging Face, LangChain, or custom fine-tuning)Solid knowledge of Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask) and a frontend stack (React/Next.js + Tailwind)Database experience: Postgres (with JSONB + pgvector), NoSQL, RedisNice to have:Experience with HRTech/ATS platformsKnowledge of MLOps pipelines (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow)Understanding of fairness in AI and bias mitigationExperience building interactive assessments/simulationsRole Type:Full-time (preferred), hybrid or remoteOpen to senior engineer + product builder who can eventually grow into CTO/Head of Engineering role
