Finance Intern

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our FP&R team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting financial planning, reporting, and AI-driven financial modeling and analysis. You will assist with financial tasks, data analysis, management reporting, and budgeting and forecasting processes. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Finance or a related field to apply their knowledge in a real-world, technology-enabled environment.Key AccountabilitiesFP&R Support: Assist the Financial Planning & Reporting team in delivering accurate and timely financial insights, including management reporting and performance analysisAI-Driven Financial Modeling: Support the development and enhancement of financial models using AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiencyData Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to support business decision-makingManagement Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and ad hoc management reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadershipBudgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection, model updates, and variance analysisSpreadsheet & Tool Management: Maintain and enhance spreadsheets and reporting tools used for financial analysis and reportingAccounting Tasks: Assist with accounting-related activities such as account reconciliations and transaction processing where requiredMarket & Business Research: Conduct research on financial trends, industry benchmarks, and AI applications in financeClerical Tasks: Perform basic administrative duties such as filing and organizing financial documentationProject Support: Provide support to FP&R team members on ongoing financial and transformation projects, including automation initiativesLearning and Development: Build practical knowledge in FP&R, financial analytics, and the use of AI in finance functionsQualifications, Experience And SkillsAnalytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trendsCommunication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to present insights clearlyTechnical Skills: Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and familiarity with financial systems; exposure to data analytics or AI tools is a plusAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial data and reportingOrganizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectivelyProblem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions related to financial data and processesFinancial Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial ratiosTechnology Curiosity: Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools within finance processesTeamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentWhat You Will GainHands-on experience in FP&R deliverables within a corporate environmentExposure to AI-driven financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting toolsInsight into the intersection of finance, technology, and supply chain managementExperience contributing to process improvements and automation initiativesExposure to project management tools and cross-functional collaborationThe opportunity to develop in-demand skills in financial analytics and digital finance transformation within a supportive, collaborative environment
