They’re expanding their engineering team to enhance their secure cloud infrastructure and support deployments across various industries, including government and Fortune 500 companies.THE ROLE – Infrastructure EngineerThey are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to play a pivotal role in securing cloud infrastructure for an advanced AI and data analytics platform. In this role, you will work on achieving key security accreditations, implementing best practices, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to embed security into every aspect of the development lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in cloud security and a passion for working with cutting-edge technologies.Drive the achievement of FedRAMP and CMMC accreditationImplement security hardening for application containers and cloud-based instancesCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to meet rigorous accreditation requirementsIntegrate security into the development lifecycle in partnership with DevOps, and application teamsConduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.Respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective measuresManage security monitoring, detection, and response in AWS environmentsAssist in the preparation and submission of security documentation for federal contracts and auditsEXPERIENCEFamiliarity with FedRAMP and CMMC accreditation and migrationStrong knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 practices and objectivesExpertise in cloud and application security, with a focus on protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)Proficiency in Terraform and KubernetesProficiency in AWS GovCloud administration, including services like IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and KMSMUST be able to obtain TS SCI ClearanceExperience with .NET or Python programmingBENEFITSInfrastructure Engineer, you will receive a competitive package of $180,00 - $200,000 base salary + equity.
