Project Support Coordinator

Job Title: Project CoordinatorEmployment Type: 8 month contract, possible extension/conversionLocation: Dallas, TX - 100% onsiteW2 Pay Rate: $25-30/hrAkkodis is seeking a Project Coordinator for a contract position in Dallas, TX. You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a project coordinator/assistant role. You will be responsible for supporting the technology team in hardware and software deployments at field locations. Excellent communication and MS Excel skills are required. We are seeking an energetic, motivated coordinator to join a thriving team!!***5 days onsite in N. Dallas***Responsibilities:Works with technical staff to normalize point of sale system and communications equipment behavior by following scripted instructions and executing them at hundreds of locations (remote dial in, and/or dispatching technicians)Manages and updates rollout schedules on a daily basisFacilitates collection of site surveys and other site-specific informationAnalyzes of site surveys to determine pre-requisite qualificationsCreating equipment and service requirement schedules for system upgradesMonitors progress using methods and checklists developed by the lead project managerMonitors and records progress of company and distributor project managers and equipment and service deliveriesCoordinates and communicates upgrade schedules with field operations, site managers and technical resourcesCodes, processes and records vendor invoices and project expenses as approved by lead project managerProvides technical administration for onboarding/offboarding of Retail sites to Mobile/Loyalty AppCommunicates with technical helpdesk to receive site ID change requestsWorks with 3rd party vendors to create, change, or terminate site IDsExecutes scripts to determine existing site connectivityConfigures web-based systems to enable functionality at hundreds of locationsSkills:Bachelors Degree in IT preferred.2+ years of experience in a project coordinator/assistant role.Previous experience with IT hardware.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), able to keep project schedules and data organized, proficient in Microsoft Suite, ability to multi-task.Excellent Microsoft Excel skills for ability to combine and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources.“Out of the box”, solution-based, process improvement thinking a MUST.Excellent documentation skills.Strong communication (written and oral).Go-Getter attitude that will push to get the job done and drive projects.Self-driven, with limited oversight required.Attentive to detail with focus on accurate and timely results.Organized and able to prioritize tasks, responding effectively to competing needs.If you are interested in this Project Coordinator Job, then please click apply through Akkodis.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
