If you are interested apply to requisition 1390 at www.kaiseraluminum.com/careersThe Corporate Sr. Reliability Engineer is responsible for developing and executing Best in Class practices, processes, and programs related to maintaining and improving the reliability of the company's manufacturing assets. Additionally, they provide technical expertise and advisory support for facility engineering and maintenance staff as required.Benefits:Salary range $165,000 to $185,000 depending on experienceHigh deductible medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, including spouse and children (modest payroll deductions)10 paid holidays per yearVacation (3-4 weeks depending on experience)Supplemental leave (used in conjunction with Washington Paid Family & Medical Leave)401K with matching company fundsAnnual bonus opportunityTuition reimbursementWhat you will work on:Provide support for the development and improvement of asset management plans in support of the company's asset management strategySupport company equipment related risk analysis and reduction activitiesParticipate in asset life cycle costing and improvement initiativesDevelop Best in Class reliability processes and tools for deployment at company facilitiesLead reliability projects as assignedInterface with facility teams to solve reliability issues and reduce equipment related business riskMentor and help develop facility maintenance and reliability staffProvide technical and reliability subject matter expertise for facility support in as neededSupport the development of "Special Services" for critical reliability and safety processes (alignment, vibration, combustion, etc.)Support design for reliability (DFR) reviews of new equipment installations.Travel required approximately 50% of the time to support the above activities.What you will bring to the role:Bachelor's degree in an appropriate technical field.Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) and/or Certification as a Reliability Engineer (CRE) preferred but not requiredA minimum of ten (10) years of experience in reliability engineering and related processes.Demonstrated experience leading reliability programs across multiple organizations.Ability to manage cross-functional teams consisting of customers, vendors, and technical architects and engineers.Experience in a heavy industrial or process environment preferredAbility to effectively communicate at multiple levels within an organization.The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.Experience leading and developing top performing teams.Preferred Skills:Six Sigma expertise/certificationHydraulic system design and maintenanceAsset Management expertise/certificationMaintenance Leadership expertise/certificationSix Sigma trainingWe are an equal opportunity employer.
