Shop/Install Apprentice

This is a great opportunity for an entry level woodworker looking to join a small but growing team! We have been in business since 2003 - 21 years strong. We work heavily in the fireplace industry making mantels, surrounds and a variety of fireplace built-in cabinetry. You would work in the shop some days and out on installs other days. We are looking to fill a full time position as soon as possible. Essential Job Functions You assist with the completion of projects under the supervision and leadership of shop lead. Safely and efficiently learn to utilize woodworking tools to complete projects, help maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop, job site and delivery vehicle. Assist the install lead with delivery and installation of finished product. Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing ~100 lbs, with assistance when needed. Standing and bending for prolonged periods of time; at least 8 hours per day. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Thursday, 10 hr. shifts. Training will be provided - having basic knowledge of arithmetic, algebra and geometry is important. This position is expected to grow into either full time shop or full time install dependent on your strengths in the positions.
