Job#: 26-01189Location: Anchorage, Alaska (Primary) | Travel to North SlopePay: $20-$25 (DOE)Schedule: Must be available for any shift between approximately 4:30 AM and 8:00 PMDuration: 12-month ContractJob Type: Full-Time Contract - Could go Part Time in July 2026Job SummaryWe are seeking a Ticket Counter Agent to provide exceptional customer service to support 3-5 flights per day at an Anchorage airport ticket counter. This position supports passenger check-in, baggage handling, flight information, and issue resolution while maintaining strict security and confidentiality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to passenger inquiries related to flights, scheduling, and travel detailsAssist with ticketing, check-in, and customer service at the counterCheck baggage for the correct airport or camp destination and direct passengers to assigned gatesMake public address announcements for arrivals and departuresPrepare, print, and distribute passenger manifests and boarding passesVerify passenger identification in accordance with company and security requirementsCoordinate specialized passenger authorizations when required (e.g., subpoenas, warrants)Maintain confidentiality of passenger manifests and sensitive informationCommunicate current updates with flight crews, colleagues, aviation logistics personnel, airport staff, security offices, and other stakeholdersEnsure management and impacted passengers are promptly notified during weather or mechanical delaysReport deviations and concerns by submitting Incident/Safety ReportsSupport safe, timely boarding and ensure proper flight closure proceduresAssist passengers requiring commercial airline services when neededCoordinate with other airlines during delays to facilitate passenger and baggage transfersFollow security protocols for passenger handling and airport facilitiesProcess claims for lost, delayed, or damaged baggageStore and properly dispose of abandoned itemsMaintain a clean, organized, and professional ticket counter and office areaCreate and maintain reports related to ticket counter operationsDevelop and update work process/procedure documentationProvide general administrative support to the supervisorCollaborate effectively with staff and airport personnel at all levelsWork Schedule & Shift InformationThis role supports flight operations, so flexibility is required. There are three primary shifts, and you may be scheduled for any of them depending on flight activity.
