Residence Manager
DescriptionResidence ManagerSchedule: Full-time, all shifts available (may include evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed)Pay: $25.00-$26.25 per hourBenefits: Include medical, dental, vision, retirement, company-paid life and disability coverage, optional voluntary plans, and 33 days of paid time off for eligible full-time employees.The Residence Manager is responsible for the overall operation, supervision, and success of assigned residential programs. This role provides leadership to staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports high-quality, person-centered services for residents (people receiving services).Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Residence Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Oversee daily operations of residential programs to ensure quality care and regulatory complianceSupervise, support, and develop Assistant Residence Managers and Direct Support ProfessionalsManage staffing needs, including scheduling, performance management, and hiring supportEnsure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with agency, OPWDD, and billing requirementsSupport implementation of service plans while promoting resident independence, safety, and well-beingParticipate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies or staffing needs as requiredMonitor program environments, addressing safety concerns and coordinating maintenance needsCollaborate with families, staff, and external partners to support resident outcomesFacilitate team communication and maintain a positive, team-oriented cultureEnsure staff complete all required training and maintain necessary certificationsSubmit maintenance requests and follow up on facility-related issuesMaintain strong working relationships with staff, residents, families, and community partnersRequirementsAssociate degree with 3 years’ experience working in an OPWDD or similar Human Services settings. Or, A combination of education and experience that in the opinion of the agency, exceeds this standard.Valid NY State driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier requireAbility to lift and assist with up to 50 pounds (including transfers and physical support)
