Apply today and be part of ePac’s next chapter of innovation and growth.Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesRegularly calibrates press via color calibration to ensure excellent print qualityEfficiently sets up machine to maximize uptimeConfirms job specifications based on job ticket prior to printingPerforms daily and weekly maintenance on pressNotifies Lead Press Operator when equipment needs repair or opens service callsLoads rolls of material onto press, and monitors print quality while machine is in productionKeeps pressroom clean and organizedNon-essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesCould be asked to support other parts of the operations including press assistant, pouching, slitting, and laminationOther duties as assigned by management and supervisors.Participates in on-going training opportunities and supports a continuous quality improvement environment.Job Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesVisual acuity to color consistencyManual coordination and dexterityAbility to use basic hand toolsManual coordination and dexterity while utilizing hand tools, cleaning equipmentBe able to work safely around operating machinerySimple mathematical ability for reports requiredComputer literacyAbility to read a rulerMechanical skills and use of basic hand toolsExperience And EducationExperience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.1-3 years in production field related to digital printing a plus, but not required!Basic knowledge of flexible packaging films is a plus.High School Diploma or equivalent.Must be flexible in work schedule.
