This position will provide immediate engineering support across product development, manufacturing and ongoing projects. This isn’t a desk-only engineering role. You’ll design it—but you’ll also help build it, troubleshoot it, refine it and make it work better in the real world. For the right person, this temporary position may have the opportunity to develop into a permanent role based on performance, capabilities, business needs and overall fit. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* · Design and create precise CAD models and technical drawings for new and existing products · Collaborate with engineering, machining, welding and fabrication to solve real-world challenges · Document parts and assembly processes to ensure clarity and consistency in production · Support hands-on fabrication, mechanical and engineering projects as needed · Analyze current manufacturing programs to improve workflow, reduce waste and increase efficiency · Support the implementation and operation of 3D scanning and other new technologies · Apply knowledge of flow dynamics and practical manufacturing methods to improve performance and manufacturability · Participate in product testing, troubleshooting and continuous refinement · Help identify practical solutions to production and engineering challenges as they arise · Complete required engineering, project and production documentation accurately and on time *WHAT MATTERS TO US* · Real-world mechanical instinct · Common sense · Hands-on experience · Curiosity and problem-solving grit · Attention to detail · Pride in your work · Reliability and accountability · Willingness to learn, listen and improve · The ability to take a project from an idea on a screen to something that actually works A degree can teach you engineering.
