This role offers the opportunity to lead technical project execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and work directly with customers and EPC partners on high-impact initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Project Engineer will provide technical project management, technical direction, and coordination of engineering activities while driving issue resolution and ensuring project compliance with contractual requirements.Responsibilities include:Acting as the primary technical point of contact for customer inquiries, technical communications, and change requestsCoordinating with customers, EPC firms, project management teams, engineering organizations, supply chain teams, and field personnelConducting Customer Kick-Off Meetings (CKOMs) and Design Liaison Meetings (DLMs)Reviewing contract documentation and communicating project requirements to engineering teamsManaging engineering scope changes through change management processesSupporting resolution of technical and cross-functional engineering issuesMitigating engineering schedule risks and avoiding delivery delaysManaging engineering budgets and supporting quarterly financial forecastingProviding technical support to manufacturing, sourcing, suppliers, and installation teamsPresenting project risks, action plans, and issue resolutions to leadershipDriving continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned into engineering processesBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or universityORHigh School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experienceMinimum 2 years of experience in:Project EngineeringDesign Engineeringand/or Field EngineeringAdditional RequirementsAbility and willingness to travel approximately 10%–15%Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsCustomer-facing experienceExperience with GTCC / Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) softwareStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsKnowledge of plant system design engineering, manufacturing, installation, assembly, or testingContinuous improvement mindsetHybrid onsite expectation: 3–5 days per week depending on business needs.
