Material Handler
Vector's partner is in need of a Material Handler! This is a hands-on role that is responsible for supporting daily material movement across warehouse and manufacturing environments. It requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced and evolving operation. Material Handlers may perform a variety of tasks including picking, kitting, put-away, Kanban replenishment, water spider support, shipping/receiving, and forklift operation.
1st Shift - Starting at $22/hr.
2nd Shift - Starting at $23/hr.
Responsibilities:
Pick, kit, stage, and deliver materials to production and warehouse locations
Perform put-away and replenishment activities, including Kanban and supermarket systems
Support water spider operations by following routes and standard work
Assist with shipping, receiving, and material transfers as needed
Rotate between multiple material handling tasks based on daily needs
Learn and follow standard work across different materials processes
Adapt quickly to changing priorities, layouts, or processes
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Follow all safety procedures and material handling guidelines
Report safety concerns, damaged materials, or process issues
Verify part numbers, quantities, and locations during handling activities
Help maintain accurate material locations and labeling
Complete required documentation or system transactions accurately
Work collaboratively with other material handlers, leads, and production teams
Qualifications:
Required
High school diploma or GED
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
Willingness to learn multiple material handling processes
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods
Preferred
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Forklift or material handling equipment experience
Basic computer or system usage experience
