Senior Voice Specialist
Title - Sr. Voice SpecialistLocation - Charlotte, NC or Kansas City, MO (Hybrid)We’re looking for a Sr. Voice Specialist to support our Enterprise Sales organization as a trusted technical advisor and product expert. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, sales, and solution design.If you’re passionate about voice solutions and enjoy helping customers solve complex challenges while driving revenue, we’d love to connect.As a key member of our presales organization, you will partner closely with Sales and Sales Engineering teams to support the full sales lifecycle—from discovery through solution design and closing.ResponsibilitiesServe as a subject matter expert for our Voice Solutions portfolio, including Hosted/Cloud Voice, UCaaS, Contact Center, SIP, and related servicesLead technical discovery sessions, design scalable solutions, and deliver compelling product demonstrationsSupport proof-of-concept validation, proposal development, and solution positioningAct as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with business and technical requirementsPartner with Sales to help identify and develop new opportunities within existing and prospective accountsDeliver training and enablement to Sales and Sales Engineering teams to drive adoption and confidence in voice solutionsDevelop technical playbooks, architecture guidance, and competitive positioning materialsCollaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Support teams to improve offerings and influence roadmap directionRepresent the company at customer meetings, presentations, and industry eventsQualifications5+ years of experience supporting Voice, Unified Communications, or Contact Center solutions in a presales or technical roleStrong knowledge of IP networking, telecommunications, and security conceptsExperience with solution design, deployment, and service activation in a telecom or cloud environmentAbility to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholdersProven success partnering with sales teams to drive customer engagement and close businessExperience creating and delivering presentations, demos, and technical trainingStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferredBachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Telecommunications certificationsCore CompetenciesExceptional communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to build and maintain strong internal and external relationshipsHigh level of accountability, ownership, and executionAdaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentPositive, customer-focused mindset with strong business acumenDemonstrates leadership, integrity, and professionalismAbout Segra: Segra owns and operates a wide and dense fiber-optic infrastructure footprint that provides state-of-the-art connectivity, cybersecurity, voice, cloud and colocation solutions, all backed by industry leading service and reliability.
