Certified Outpatient Coding Specialist

A company is looking for an Outpatient Facility SDS Coding Specialist who will provide coding services for outpatient facility charts. Key Responsibilities Provide CPT and diagnosis codes for outpatient facility SDS charts Calculate facility E/M levels and recognize critical care cases based on patient acuity Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards Required Qualifications Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory Minimum of 2 years of paid work experience in outpatient SDS coding Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Familiarity with EMR and billing systems Ability to maintain productivity and quality scores of 95% or higher
