Shop Foreman

A growing equipment organization is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead daily shop operations at its Pennsylvania facility in the greater Philadelphia area. This role is responsible for overseeing workflow, supporting technicians, and helping drive a productive, team-oriented service environment focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.This is a leadership-focused role ideal for someone who leads by example, communicates well with technicians, and thrives in a fast-paced service environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and support shop technicians to maintain a productive, high-performing service departmentManage workflow, scheduling, and shop efficiency across a busy multi-bay facilityProvide guidance and technical support to technicians as neededReview completed work orders and coordinate customer communication regarding repairs and service updatesPerform final inspections of equipment prior to customer deliveryBuild strong customer relationships and help resolve service-related concernsFoster a positive team culture built on accountability, trust, and collaborationAssist with recruiting, developing, and retaining skilled techniciansPartner with other department leaders to support overall operational successMaintain high standards for safety, organization, and professionalism within the shopQualificationsPrior leadership experience within equipment rental, heavy equipment, construction equipment, or dealership service operationsStrong background working with aerial lifts, telehandlers, forklifts, or similar equipment preferredProven ability to lead technicians without micromanagingStrong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage priorities in a fast-paced service environmentCustomer-focused mindset with strong organizational skillsExperience recruiting and developing technicians is a plusFamiliarity with service management systems and shop operations preferred Equal Opportunity EmployerAll applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
