Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts. Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine customer care. Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts, ensuring products are organized and accessible. Conduct inventory checks, manage stock levels, and assist with replenishment to keep the sales floor well-stocked. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Assist in training or supervising new team members as needed, fostering a collaborative store environment. Engage in product demos for customers, highlighting features and benefits to enhance their shopping experience. Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment. Use retail math skills to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth store operations. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for transactions. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to perform retail tasks such as stocking shelves, conducting product demos, and upselling effectively. Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial but not required. Demonstrated ability to handle cash accurately and perform retail math calculations confidently.
