Front End DeveloperCleveland, OH6-month contract-to-hireOur client, a global leader in the paint and coatings industry, is hiring a Front-End Developer for their Color Excellence team. The developer would support the Global Color division where they are dedicated to revolutionizing technology solutions for retail and in-store paint orders, driving the excellence of our retail and store operations.As a Developer on our Color Excellence team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and enhancing key paint technology projects. Your expertise will contribute to the continued success of vital systems, including evolving the connect program for innovative Point of Sale (POS) functionality, and providing crucial support to the in-store tinter applications.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end developers, to translate design concepts into interactive web applications.Develop and maintain front-end components using React, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and adherence to best practices.Implement and refine user interfaces, following UI/UX design guidelines and standards to enhance the user experience.Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and foster knowledge sharing.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks as needed.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and innovations for our web development processes.Create and develop single page applications.Contribute to the planning and estimation of project tasks and timelines, keeping stakeholders informed of progress.Actively participate in team discussions, offering ideas and solutions to technical challenges and actively seeking opportunities to learn and improve.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Strong proficiency in Vue and its core principles.Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and their interactions in web applications.Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to work closely with design teams to implement visual concepts.Experience working in an agile environment, with 2 week sprint cycles.Experience converting applications into single page applications.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.What’s in it for you?A welcoming, team environment where you will be provided an opportunity to work with a Fortune 100 company.
