DES offers opportunities to grow professionally while helping strengthen Arizona communities through inclusive and customer-centered services.What You'll DoSupport agency compliance efforts related to ADA Title II and language access requirements.Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to identify and address accessibility barriers.Help develop and improve accessibility and language access plans.Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to employees and stakeholders.Review policies, procedures, and communications to support equitable access.Track compliance activities, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements.Collaborate with community partners and advocacy groups to strengthen inclusive practices.Participate in research and attend regular meetings and workshops related to the assigned areas of responsibility to stay abreast of new guidance, trends, and innovations.Performs on-site visits to assess compliance according to established schedules, identifies noncompliance, and prepares findings report with required corrective action.Provide support in other areas of compliance overseen by the Office of Equal Opportunity to ensure adherence to legal authorities and regulations, including conducting desk reviews or on-site visits, researching deficiencies, grievances, and complaints, and write summaries of findings.We're Looking For Someone Who CanCommunicate effectively with diverse audiences.Build collaborative relationships across teams and communities.Analyze issues and recommend practical solutions.Interpret and apply policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.Manage multiple priorities while staying organized and detail-oriented.Facilitate training, presentations, or discussions with professionalism.Promote accessibility, inclusion, and customer-focused service.We recognize that skills may be gained through professional experience, education, military service, volunteer work, or transferable experiences.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting ADA Title II, Section 504, civil rights, or language access initiatives.Experience coordinating compliance activities, accessibility programs, or public-facing services.Experience developing or delivering training and guidance.Experience working in government, education, healthcare, nonprofit, or public service environments.Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.YOU MUST APPLY TO THIS LINK TO BE CONSIDERED: https://www.azstatejobs.gov/jobs/ada-title-ii-and-language-access-coordinator-phoenix-arizona-united-states-2bc30e26-6144-44ad-a703-ddbe8d9375eb
